This course is offered in partnership with The ArQuives. The ArQuives is Canada’s LGBTQ2S+ Archives, formerly known as the Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives. It is also a Canadian non-profit organization, founded in 1973 as the Canadian Gay Liberation Movement Archives. The ArQuives is located at 34 Isabella St, Toronto, ON M4Y 1N1.
About Jeffrey Canton:
Jeffrey Canton, a storyteller of traditional and personal tales for over three decades, identifies as LGBTQ2S+ and much of his work focuses on his inter-sectional identity. He is a core member of Queers in Your Ears, Toronto’s oldest LGBTQ2S+ storytelling collective. Jeffrey has trained at the Toronto Biennial of Art in conflict resolution, anti-oppression and anti-racism, and uses this training to create a safe space for all participants.
