Marla is no stranger to the theatre world. They have spent 10 years as a crew hand, assistant stage manager and stage manager for Alexander Showcase Theatre, they’ve even been on stage twice! By day they are a mild mannered administrative assistant but once the warm weather hits they become volunteer extraordinaire! Marla frequents volunteers for Luminato, Fringe, Pride Toronto, the Elevate festival and anywhere else that wants them. All with the support of their 2 kitties and their partner. They are excited to be taking on this new venture with the Toronto International Storytelling Festival.
