Gail Miller has been telling Anansi stories across Toronto for the past seven years at community events and celebrations as well as storytelling tents and shows, at her children’s school and at the Parent-Child Mother Goose Program. She is a recipient of the National Emerging Storyteller Award and a teller at the Storytellers of Canada conference in 2019. Although Gail performs for audiences of all ages, her favorite audiences are children. She loves to see their responses as they listen and interact with Anansi and the village animals. Gail’s storytelling takes listeners on a journey to a forest full of talking animals and brings them to life. She is here at the festival with Anansi and his friends Turtle and Pigeon, to share their adventures with you.
