Storytelling with String Quartet for the Longest Nights

  • Thursday, December 18, 2025
  • 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
  • Alterinity, 333 Bloor Street West

As we approach the winter solstice, when darkness peaks and blurs the lines between worlds we bring you a unique musical storytelling performance in two parts.

Thursday, December 18th, 5pm - 7pm
at Alterinity, 333 Bloor Street West

Part One: Moonwize String Quartet, Elena Spanu, Cassie Norton, Laura Bates, and Geoff Ball will welcome and warm the space with a series of magical interactive improvisations using a variety of mystical interventions, drawing from all of the spirits in the room.

Part two: Sarah Abusarar and Cassie Norton will share their story-song shaping around the life of Baba Anjuka, a real-life historic woman of mythical proportion, often described as the Balkans most prolific serial killer, accompanied by Moonwize.

This event is taking place at Alternity, a Hub for Creatives, Evolutionaries & Visionaries, a cafe, store, venue. Come early or browse during our intermission to find unique treasures, or just enjoy a warm cup of something...
